Redesigned with 2 large oval rubber hatches and an 8-inch round day hatch we have given paddlers the confidence they demand. At 22 1/2" wide this boat has amazing initial stability without giving up performance. The key to the Susquehanna's allure is the additional hull rocker. Easy maneuverability in 16'6" kayak appeals to both the entry-level kayaker, as well as the big water paddler looking to surf with confidence. From tight wooded creeks to precision rock garden surfing, the Susquehanna has the ability to take on whatever Mother Nature can throw at it. As always standard with our "On Demand" adjustable back-band, new for 2005 we have added the outfitting our customers have asked for: Reflective heavy gauge deck lines, recess for the 70p compass, "Clutch" rescue handle and new deck rigging.
