Our parents told all of us that we were special, but
what makes a kayak so special? Within Impex Kayaks we have
covered a lot of bases, from Impex Formula Series kayaks to our
Pro Tour where kayaks just bleed performance. With the Specialty
Touring Series we are sure we are covering all of our customers most
specific needs.
We are proud to introduce, for the first time ever offered
in composite, the Outer Island, brought to us by designer-kayaker Jay Babina.
this kayak will bring a high performance Western Greenland style kayak to
the masses. Once limited to only those who had the time and ability to build a
wood strip or skin on frame kayak, the Outer Island combines tradition with
our second to none composite construction.
Redesigned for this year will be a classic in our line, the Susquehanna. Derived from the
hull shape of the Impex Formula Series Diamante, the Susquehanna now has a retooled deck
with all rubber hatches and the expedition rigging found in our Performance Series. We are
extremely exited to offer this kayak, as it has been a work in progress for over a year, developed
with input and requests directly from our customers, our family of paddlers. So don't worry
folks, you are still all special. It just might be time for you to recognize the benefits of a
Special kayak as well.
