Lightweight and simple is the key to this little boat's success. For smaller paddlers this kayak offers the same efficient hull as the Gale, yet without the added weight and expense of a front bulkhead and hatch or skeg. Keeping this kayak down to only 38 pounds allows many smaller paddlers the ability to be independent in carrying and loading their kayak. Still keeping the comfort of our "Points of Contact" Outfitting this boat is not a cheap kayak, just a simple, more modest version of our Performance Line boats. For those paddlers where strong wind keeps their boats on the shore and an expedition is once around the closest island on the pond, the Sea Breeze could be the right choice.
