The Montauk has taken its place among the 16x22's with confidence, giving small
to medium sized paddlers what we feel to be the fastest and most stable of the lot. Two
oval rubber hatches and a third 8 inch round day hatch gives plenty of carrying capacity
for extended camping trips or the gear happy day boater. With great tracking this fast 16
footer gives paddlers who enjoy longer trips the option of a smaller, easy to maneuver
kayak. The Montauk comes Standard with a compass recess for the Nexus 70p, our
"On Demand" adjustable backband and retractable skeg, and all at only 5o pounds.
